On April 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested connecting India’s UPI system with the payment systems of BIMSTEC countries. This move is aimed at boosting trade, business, and tourism within the region.
BIMSTEC countries include India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

- Open your UPI app.
- Tap on ‘Link Credit Card’.
