India is actively encouraging digital payments by using methods like UPI, offering rewards and expanding internationally. With more real time transactions happening around the world, the country aims to lead the way in digital payment technology and make financial services available to everyone.

A UPI credit card lets you use your credit card through a UPI app to make payments. This means you don’t need to carry a physical card. You can link your credit card to the UPI app and pay easily.

PM Modi’s Vision: Strengthening Regional Trade and Tourism Through UPI Integration with BIMSTEC Nations”

As more and more real-time transactions happen worldwide, India is working hard to promote digital payments through UPI, rewards programs, and expanding internationally. The goal is to lead in digital payment technology and make financial services available to everyone.

On April 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested connecting India’s UPI system with the payment systems of BIMSTEC countries. This move is aimed at boosting trade, business, and tourism within the region.

BIMSTEC countries include India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Features of UPI Credit Card:

  • You don’t need to carry a physical credit card.
  • Once you link your credit card to UPI, you can easily make payments.
