The Yamuna Authority has successfully allotted nine plots in the group housing category. This generated a total of ₹1,033.65 crore from the bidding process. This amount surpasses the reserve price of ₹970.16 crore by ₹63.49 crore.

These nine plots are part of a larger scheme that includes a total of 19 plots. The housing scheme was launched on 1 August after which Bidding were held for nine of the plots. There was a strong interest from builders in the area. The successful allocation marks a significant step in the Yamuna Authority’s efforts to boost residential development and meet the growing demand for housing in the NCR.

Builders who took over the bidding includes major companies who are already very prominent around the town. Spendor Landbase Ltd. Sector 18, Eldeco Sohna Project Ltd Sector 22 D, Arihant Buildcon Pvt. Ltd Sector 22 D, Gaur Sons Promoters Pvt. Ltd Sector 22 D, Aggarwal Food Grain Sector 22 D, Exotica Housing & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. Sector 22 D, Vrinda Housing Pvt. Ltd Sector 22 D.

Allocation Of The Plots

Yamuna Authority allocated nine plots through a competitive bidding process out of a total of 19 available plots. Only the plots in sector 18 were successfully allotted, while Sector 17 saw no applications for its five plots. Bidders showcased less interest in these plot. The limited response in Sector 17 may prompt the authority to reassess the appeal and viability of plots in that sector moving forward.

The allocation reflects a targeted demand for housing in specific sectors, despite the overall availability of multiple plots. The successful bidding marks a development for the Yamuna Authority.

Bids were invited for all eight plots in Sector 22D as well and the auction was successful. The Yamuna Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Arunvir Singh, announced that the authority will receive approximately 6.5 percent more revenue from these plots than the established reserve price.
