‘Withdraw From Syria Or…’ Turkey President Erdogan WARNS Israel, Says Will Crush The Heads Of…

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan  warned all the countries showing interest in Syria to “Keep their hands off the region.” He said that Turkey is the most powerful force capable of solving the ongoing issue in the region. Erdogan asserted that Turkey will crush the heads of ISIS, YPG, and other terrorist organizations in a short time.

Erdogan Warns Forces Attacking Syria

Speaking at an AK party meeting, Erdogan warned Israel to withdraw its forces from Syria. He announced that no one will be able to extinguish the Syrian revolution despite their efforts. “No matter what you do, you will not be able to extinguish the Syrian revolution by blowing on it. You will not be able to carry out the provocation you desire in our country either. You will not be able to break the Turkish-Syrian brotherhood, the Turkish-Kurdish-Arab brotherhood.”

Turkish President also issued warning to forces attacking Syrian territories to stop their activities or face consequences. “The forces attacking Syrian territories must immediately put an end to their aggressive actions. Otherwise, the consequences will have a negative impact on everyone,” added Erdogan.

Furthermore, he said that the YPG terrorist organization, which has also usurped Syria’s natural resources, will not be able to escape the approaching bitter fate if it does not dissolve itself and lay down its weapons.

Israel Rejects Erdogan’s Claims

The Israel Foreign Ministry, however, rejected the claims made by Erdogan. In an official post, they wrote, “Israel completely rejects the Turkish president’s statement. The aggressive imperialist actor in Syria (as well as in northern Cyprus, Libya, and other areas in the Middle East) is Turkey itself, and it is advisable for the Turkish president to avoid unnecessary threats. The State of Israel will continue to act to protect its borders from any threat.”

Notably, Israel and Turkey are currently in a state of diplomatic conflict which had deepened after Hamas’ October 7 Attack on Israel. Turkey had condemned Israel for its conduct in conflict with Hamas. The fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime in Syria, also added to the shadow conflict between the two countries. After the fall of Assad regime, Israel had immediately moved to take Syria’s Mount Hermon. It had launched a major bombing campaign against the remaining equipment of the Syrian military. This further increased tensions as the Turkish government aims to dissolve the SDF and create a buffer against Kurdish forces in the North.
