the Congress party released its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. This list includes Lokendra Chaudhary, who will contest from the Timarpur constituency, and Suresh Chauhan, who will run from Rohtas Nagar.

The elections are scheduled for February 5, with the counting of votes taking place on February 8. Candidates can file their nominations until January 17, with scrutiny occurring on January 18 and the last date to withdraw nominations set for January 20.

In addition to candidate announcements, Congress has made several promises to the people of Delhi if elected. These include providing Rs 500 for LPG cylinders, free ration kits, and free electricity up to 300 units. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that Congress would fulfill these promises if they come to power.

Earlier in January, Congress also introduced various schemes aimed at supporting residents, including a monthly grant of Rs 2,500 for women and free health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh. They also promised to give educated unemployed youth Rs 8,500 each month for one year. As the election date approaches, Congress aims to regain its influence in Delhi after facing significant challenges in recent elections.
