After an IAS officer sat in a police station for over 5 hours demanding FIR against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said he should come forward clarify.

IAS Sudhir Kumar has made several allegations against the CM, saying the case is related to fraud and the creation of fake papers. He also claimed that he has evidence against Nitish Kumar and others.

The former chairman of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission alleged that he has been waiting since 12 pm, but FIR hasn’t been filed yet.

‘I have been waiting since 12 pm, but FIR hasn’t been filed yet’

“I have been waiting since 12 pm, but FIR hasn’t been filed yet. I have only received a receipt from Gardanibagh’s SC/ST PS,” he added.

Responding to his allegation, Inspector Arun Kumar, Gardanibagh Police Station, said that they received the application of Sudhir Kumar, and a receipt has been made available to him.

“We are yet to read the content of the application. Further action will be taken after reading the content,” the Inspector said.

Attacking Nitish, Tejashwi asked, “why can’t there be an FIR against the Chief Minister” and accused him of misusing his position.

‘Dictatorship exists in Bihar’

Addressing the media outside the police station, Sudhir Kumar further said that dictatorship exists in Bihar.

“An officer of the rank of Chief Secretary goes to the police station to register an FIR with evidence, but it is not registered. While the CM talks about good governance, but when accusations are levelled against him and his officers, the FIR is not registered,” he said.

The former chairman of BSSC was arrested and suspended in 2017 after the paper of inter-level combined examination was leaked.

The officer is set to retire on 31 March next year.
