Virat Kohli One Hundred Short From Levelling Sir Donald Bradman’s Elite Record

Indian batter Virat Kohli made a splendid return to form during the IND vs AUS 1st Test played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Kohli smashed his 81st international century during the first Test of the five-match series and ended five-year old drought of a ton in the SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries. The right-handed Indian batter has been a match winner for the Indian side wherein he is known to play epic knocks and help the team cross the line. As he will play the second Test of the five-match series at the Adelaide Oval, he will once again chase down an elite record setup by Australian legend Sir Donald Bradman.

Virat Kohli One Century Away From Sir Donald Bradman’s Elite Record

Virat Kohli smashed his 30th century during the IND vs AUS 1st Test played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Kohli took over Donald Bradman’s record of 29 centuries in Test cricket, however, he needs another century to take over veteran Australian batter in an elite list. Donald Bradman holds the record of most international hundreds (11) against England on the English soil. Virat has slammed 10 international hundreds on the Australian soil as of now and just needs one more century to level Sir Donald Bradman’s feat.

The India vs Australia second Test will be very crucial for both the teams set to begin from December 6. The Indian team leads the five-match series by a margin of 1-0 and they will look forward to extend the lead once again after winning the second Test as well. The Aussies haven’t won a single Test series at home since 1969 after losing the first match and now they will want to change the record this time. However, with Josh Hazlewood being ruled, the Aussies will be under a bit of pressure.
