Raj Kundra, businessman and husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, is currently in 14-day judicial custody in connection with allleged pornography case. He is suspected to be the “key conspirator” in creating pornographic content and publishing them on various online apps. Enforcement Directorate (ED) too has reportedly got involved to track the financial transactions as money worrth crores was found deposited in Raj and Shilpa’s joint bank accounts. The police sought remand on the grounds of suspicion that Kundra may have used the money earned in the pornography racket for online betting.

With suspicions being raised against Raj and his partners, Shilpa too has come under the scanner. A few days ago, Crime Branch officials had raided Raj and Shilpa’s Mumbai residence where Shilpa was interrogated in Raj’s presence and the actress reportedly broke down hearing all the allegations against her husband.

Now, as per latest developments, news agency ANI has reported that Shilpa has not been given clean chit read. Quoting an official from the Mumbai Crime Branch, the tweet reads, “Pornography case | Shilpa Shetty hasn’t been given clean chit yet. All possibilities/angles are being probed. Forensic auditors are appointed and they are looking into the transactions of all accounts in this case: Mumbai Crime Branch official.”

Shilpa has not issued any official statement related to the pornography case as yet. However, she had posted a cryptic note on “surviving challenges” on her Instagram stories a few days back.

“The place we need to be is right here, right now. Not looking anxiously at what has been or what might be but fully aware of what is.” Shilpa Shetty’s Instagram story also talked about dealing with challenges: “I take a deep breath, knowing that I’m lucky to be alive. I have survived challenges in the past and will survive challenges in the future. Nothing need distract me from living my life today.

Shilpa’s comeback film, Hungama 2 released just two days after her husband got arrested in the pornography case. One cannot even imagine what she must be going through at the moment. However, gathering courage to fight it out, Shilpa, in her recent Instagram post wrote, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.” Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever! So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you”
