we saw the pre-wedding festivities of Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar starting in full swing with mehendi ceremony, which took place at actor-filmmaker’s residence and was attended by Anusha Dandekar, Rhea Chakraborty, Shabana Azmi and others.
As per the reports, Farhan and Shibani will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony at Akhtar’s Khandala farmhouse tomorrow (February 19) and will have a court marriage on February 21.
Now talking about the guest list, the India Today report suggests that Farhan’s closest friend and business partner, Ritesh Sidhwani is among the top names on the list. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are also expected to be at the wedding. The guest list also includes Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Kapur, Samir Kochhar, Monica Dogra along with Rhea Chakraborty, who was also seen at the mehendi ceremony yesterday. Apart from these close friends, Farhan and Shibani’s family members are expected to grace the event.
The duo has reportedly booked all the bungalows in and around Khandala for their guests. With around 50 guests, the wedding is expected to be a very private affair. “Car rental services and security has been booked for the wedding. The guests will be hosted in these luxurious bungalows, all of which have pools and other amenities. Farhan and Shibani have personally ensured that the guests have a comfortable stay,” says a source to the portal.
The source also revealed that the couple will not have a Maharashtrian wedding or nikah and added, “They wanted to keep it as basic and simple as possible. There won’t be a nikah or a Marathi wedding. Instead, they have chosen to make it an intimate vow ceremony. Both have written down their vows which they will read out on the main wedding day, which is February 19.”
Talking about Farhan and Shibani, the couple has been dating for over four years now. Before this, the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor was married to stylist Adhuna Bhabani. The duo got separated in 2017.Well, we are definitely excited to see Farhan and Shibani in their royal ethnic look as husband and wife.
