Marvel has created a whole universe with several popular actors from all around the world joining this franchise. As per the recent rumours, Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan is in talks to star in a project for Marvel Studios and it is not the much anticipated movie ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
The reports of Shah Rukh Khan being in a Marvel project was shared by a popular X page ‘Marvel Leaks’. The post read, “NEWS/RUMOR: Shah Rukh Khan ( SRK ) is Rumored to be in early talks with Marvel Studios for a role in a future project ( NOT AVENGERS DOOMSDAY ).”
Earlier, Farhan Akhtar, Harish Patel, and Mohan Kapur have appeared in Marvel projects.
As of now, Marvel is gearing up for the release of Thunderbolts*, which will hit the theatres in India on May 1, 2025. ‘The Fantastic Four: The First Step’, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, ‘Spider-Man 4’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ are the upcoming projects.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The movie also stars Tapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in the pivotal roles. He will next star in King with his daughter Suhana.
According to the reports by Pinkvilla, the first schedule has already begun and followed by shoots in the UAE and Europe. The source stated “It’s the first schedule of the film, which will begin at a studio in Mumbai. This will be followed by international schedules in the UAE and Europe. The team is extremely excited to begin this magnum opus, which is touted to be a one-of-its-kind action thriller, with SRK in shades of grey.”
The film is reportedly to hit the big screen in between October and December 2026.
