Raid 2 has arrived in theatres today and the audience seems to love the film. The cast of the movie includes Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in the main lead. The story of the film centres around Indian Revenue Service Officer, Amay Patnaik, who is going to raid the property of Dada Manohar Bhai. Riteish Deshmukh will be seen as the antagonist in the film.

While Raid 2 is making waves in the theatres, people are also wondering about the salaries of the cast.

As per the reports shared by the Republic World, Ajay Devgn has charged a total amount of Rs 20 crore for Raid 2. The fee that Ajay recieved is nearly half of the total budget of the film. Remarkably, Ajay has charged less this time comparing to his other films. For the 2024 film Singham Again, the actor reportedly charged Rs 35 crore to play the role of Bajirao Singham.

The reports also stated that Riteish Deshmukh, who will play the character of Dada Manohar Bhai in Raid 2, has paid Rs 4 crore. On the other hand, actress Vaani Kapoor received the amount of Rs 1 crore for her role in the film. Vaani will be seen as Malini Patnaik in Raid 2.

About the film

Raid 2 opens in theatres today. The film is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and written by Ritesh Shah. Along with the lead cast, Raid 2 also features Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial in supporting roles. Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yo Yo Honey Singh will also be seen in the songs of the film. According to Sacnilk, Raid 2 is going to earn around Rs 5 crore on its first day.

Raid 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film Raid, which was also directed by same director. The cast of the film Raid included Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Saurabh Shukla and Saanand Verma. However, this time Vaani Kapoor has replaced Ileana D’Cruz in the film.
