The Government of India started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the year 2019 to benefit farmers. Under this program the government provides these eligible farmers an annual payout of Rs 6000. This scheme distributes Rs 2000 payments through regular four-month intervals to the enrolled farmers.

The scheme distributes three equal installments which farmers receive during one year. Crores of farmers in the country benefit from these. Since its implementation, the Kisan Yojana has distributed 19 installments to farmers. Now the farmers are waiting for the 20th installment under this scheme. The 20th installment is likely to be delivered to the accounts of farmers by June, 2025.

Deadline For Kisan ID Card Issuance Announced

The Agriculture Department has issued a notice to the farmers to get the Farmer ID Card made. All the farmers have been told that they have to get this ID card made by 30 April.

Process To Get The Kisan ID Card

In this message, farmers have also been informed about the process of making Kisan ID cards. Farmers who want to make Kisan ID cards will have to go to their nearest Agriculture Department or Revenue Department or the nearest Public Service Center.

According to the development the new card will operate in the same way as an Aadhar card. The Kisan ID contains all essential farmer records. The process of getting government scheme benefits will be smooth for eligible farmers but other farmers who cannot create their cards may encounter difficulties accessing Kisan Yojana benefits.
