BJP leader Rajyavardhan Rathore said that the doors of the saffron party are open for all those who prioritize India and change their ideology that says ‘India First’.
The BJP MP gave this statement when asked about infighting in Rajasthan Congress and Sachin Pilot.
“When you have weak leadership at the Centre, regional leaders do as they wish, irrespective of the messages you send, be it in Rajasthan or Punjab. With no vision, leaders will leave the party & join another party with a vision,” he added.
Rathore also slammed the Rajasthan government saying at a time when there has been COVID-19 mismanagement by them with injections found in pits and sewage, their only management has been to stay in power.
Amid political slugfest in Rajasthan Congress, Pilot reached Delhi on Friday and plans to stay till Sunday.
Sources told IANS that there are no plans to meet Rahul Gandhi, a meeting is expected with Rajasthan In-charge Ajay Maken and General Secretary, Organisation KC Venugopal.
This comes after Pilot loyalists made comments on the internal issues of the party including an MLA sending his resignation to the speaker.
Issues haven’t been resolved: Pilot
After Congress leader Jitin Prasada jumped ship to join the BJP, Pilot raised the issue of non-resolution of commitments made to him.
“It has now been 10 months. I was given to understand that there would be swift action by the committee, but now half of the term is done, and those issues haven’t been resolved. It is unfortunate that so many of the party workers who worked and gave their all for getting us the mandate are not being heard,” IANS quoted Pilot as saying.
Later, six Congress MLAs met Pilot at his residence.
These six leaders were part of the 18 MLAs who had rebelled against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and had camped in a hotel in Gurugram last year.
