No Shortage of Passengers On Any Vande Bharat Train, Govt Says All Are….

There is no shortage of passengers on any Vande Bharat trains in the country. All Vande Bharat Express are fully booked and are operational at full capacity. At present, 136 Vande Bharat trains are operating on different routes in the country. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said Vande Bharat trains are running 100% fully booked, and passengers like the trains. 

While informing the Upper House, the union minister stated in a written reply that all seats are booked in Vande Bharat trains, and there are 136 Vande Bharat trains that are operational across the country. He stated these trains are running on a definite timetable and are prioritising operations sans disrupting the schedules of other trains.

Around 2.14 crore passengers travelled In Vande Bharat in 2024-25 in full occupation. Vande Bharat trains are equipped with modern amenities like a Kawach system, high speech capacity, a hot water boiler, an automatic plug door, and a deep freezer. 

Passengers of Vande Bharat can purchase food on trains if they forget to opt for food during the ticket booking.  The Railway has shared information in this regard. The Board has written a letter too for the same. A senior official said those passengers who do not opt for food can too enjoy quality meals during the journey.
