Mahesh Narayanan’s Malik is streaming on Amazon Prime Video on July 15 and has been garnering rave reviews from audiences and critics alike. Fahadh sported multiple looks in the film. It also featured Nimisha Sajayan, Vinay Forrt, Dileesh Pothan, Divya Prabha, Salim Kumar and Jalaja. Meanwhile, Fahadh joined the sets of Vikram last week. Apparently, he requested Kamal Haasan to watch his recent release Malik.
Following that, Kamal Haasan watched Malik at a private screening in Chennai. Fahadh, director Mahesh Narayanan organised a private screening for Kamal Haasan and Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Reportedly, Kamal was impressed with Fahadh’s performance in Malik and went on to appreciate the film’s director. A photo of Kamal, Lokesh, Fahadh and Mahesh is doing the rounds on social media.
The movie, which marks Fahadh Faasil’s second collaboration with director Mahesh Narayanan, is touted to be the most expensive project in the actor’s career. Fahadh is playing the role of Sulaiman Malik, the revolutionary leader of the coastal village in Malik.
Fahadh had also put a picture with Kamal Haasan on his social media, which went on to do rounds on the internet. On July 10, Kamal Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled the first-look poster of Vikram. The poster featured Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Last week, Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi started shooting for the film.
Vikram’ is said to be an action thriller and the technical crew of the flick consists of cinematographer Girish Gangadharan, editor Philomin Raj and stunt choreographers Anbu and Arivu. The music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander. The multistarrer is produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. The title and teaser of Vikram was released On the occasion of Kamal Haasan’s 66th birthday, November 7,2020, and it received a huge response from all.
The film will mark Lokesh’s fifth directorial venture after Aviyal, Maanagaram, Kaithi, and Thalapathy Vijay’s Master.Interestingly, Vikram was also the title of Haasan’s 1986 action film, which was directed by Rajasekhar co-starring Sathyaraj
