Bollywood actress Jacquline Fernandez has recently been making headlines for two things – her upcoming movie with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam titled Bhoot Police, and the other thing is her move into a plush new apartment. While her film is all set to release this coming month, inside images from her home have been getting thumbs up from social media users.

But as per the latest report by news agency ANI, Jacqueline is currently in New Delhi getting interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate for her alleged involvement in a money laundering case. It’s being stated that the actress was called in after she made a foreign monetary transaction of around Rs 1.5 crore using her private bank account and hid it from authorities.

The tweet by ANI reads, “Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in Delhi for the last five hours, in a money laundering case.” The actress is yet to comment on the matter.

Over the last few days, the actress has been in news for moving into a plush new home in Juhu. The house is owned by global icon Priyanka Chopra that’s supposed to cost a whopping Rs 7 crore. For the unaware, it’s the same home where Priyanka and Nick Jonas got engaged.

On the work front, Jacqueline has a series of projects lined up. While Bhoot Police will release on OTT platform Disney + Hotstar, the actress has also been busy shooting for her next project with Akshay Kumar, Ram Setu that also stars Nushrat Barucha in the lead role. She will also be teaming up with Rohit Shetty for Cirkus that stars Ranveer Singh in the lead also starring Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra among others. The film is an official adaptation of Angoor which is based on William Shakespeare’s play The Comedy of Errors.
