Bigg Boss 17 contestant and actress Soniya Bansal has officially announced that she is quitting from acting and Bollywood industry. The 28-year-old star is known for her roles in both Hindi and Telugu films. She recently revealed through social media that she is stepping away from the entertainment industry to become a life coach and spiritual healer.

Reason Behind Her Decision

In an interview with ETimes, Soniya revealed the real reason behind this decision . She said, “We are so much into doing everything for others that we forget ourselves, I realised I don’t even know what my true purpose is anymore. In this race to be perfect, to stay relevant, and to earn more, I lost myself.”

She further stated that however, She was enjoying success and fame but feels that something important is still missing from her life. “Money, fame, popularity- I had it all. But what I didn’t have was- peace,” she added. “What will you do with money if you’re not at peace? You may have everything externally, but if you’re empty inside, it’s a very dark place to be.”

What’s Soniya’s Future?

When asked about future, Soniya said, “This industry gave me recognition, but it didn’t give me stillness. It didn’t allow me to breathe. I don’t want to pretend anymore. I want to live authentically for myself and be a life coach and spiritual healer.” She further dropped the question concluding her statement that, “You never know when your life will change. You never know when death might knock. And if we haven’t lived truthfully by then, what’s the point of this entire journey?”
