Megan Schutt’s Maiden Fifer Dismisses India

Harmanpreet Kaur Reflects On The Loss
After the match, India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur addressed the team’s performance. She acknowledged the team’s strong bowling effort, despite the small target. “We believed our bowlers could take wickets, and they did manage to take five. However, in batting, while some of us got starts, we couldn’t convert them into bigger scores. These are areas we need to reflect on—especially partnerships and setting a good total on the board,” she said.
Harmanpreet also mentioned the team’s plans for the upcoming games: “It was our first game here, and now we have a better understanding of how the pitch will play. We’ll be playing on the same pitch next time, and we have a clear idea of what to expect. We’ll discuss these things in our team meeting and come out with a positive approach in the next match.”
