Now, things have come full circle. Deepika is such a big star that she’s been chosen to support her mentor Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan, in her big film debut. This comes shortly after she played Shah Rukh Khan’s mother in Jawan (2023), Ranbir Kapoor’s mother in Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva (2022), and even the mother of Kalki in Kalki 2898 AD (2024), starring Prabhas.

That’s a lot of mom roles one after the other for the superstar, who is also a new mom in real life to baby Dua Padukone Singh. Fans online, however, are not too happy with this trend of casting Deepika in so many motherly roles so soon.
