Good News! Greater Noida’s Elevated Road Soon To Ease Traffic Woes At…-Check Details

An elevated road is set to be built to help reduce the daily traffic jams in Shahberi, Greater Noida West, and Crossing Republic in Ghaziabad. The Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) has recommended this elevated road instead of a flyover, and the Greater Noida Authority has agreed to move forward with the plan.

The proposed elevated road will be about 4 kilometers long and 14 to 16 meters wide. It will make it easier for vehicles to travel directly from Ghaziabad’s NH-9 to Greater Noida West. Currently, traffic congestion is a major issue in these areas, especially during rush hours when over 10,000 vehicles pass through daily. In case of the all mails have been

Officials have expressed concerns that traffic will increase even more once the new airport opens. To tackle this problem, the Greater Noida Authority initially considered building a flyover but decided on the elevated road after CRRI’s feasibility study. This elevated road will run between the Itadan roundabout and ABES College, featuring four lanes for smoother traffic flow.

The authority has asked CRRI for more detailed studies on specific aspects of the project. Once this information is received, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be created, and then a proposal will be sent to the Ghaziabad Development Authority for further action. This project aims to significantly improve connectivity between Ghaziabad and Greater Noida West while alleviating the persistent traffic jams that commuters face daily.
