Coldplay Mumbai Concert Day 2 Highlights: Chris Martin Gives Shoutout To Shah Rukh Khan; Shreya Ghoshal Gets Emotional

British band Coldplay is currently in Mumbai to perform, and the concert was nothing less than a dream come true for fans. Several celebrities also attended the show including popular singer Shreya Ghoshal. Meanwhile, Chris Martin also gave a shoutout to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan during his show.

Chris Martin surprised his fans by speaking Hindi and said, “Aap sabka bohot swagat hai. Mumbai mein aakar humein bohot Khushi ho rahi hai.” Coldplay also gave a sweet tribute to King Khan as Chris shouted, “Shah Rukh Khan forver”.

Sharing the glimpses of Coldplay’s concert, Shreya wrote on Instagram, “Just pure love for @coldplay . Swipe till the last video to know everything. My second concert of the amazing Chris Martin and his band! And you turned your magic on for Mumbai and how!! It was a spectacular experience. Couldn’t stop my tears for Fix You! My 70+ year old dad @bishwajitghoshal loved the concert so much!!! Thank you for letting me and @shiladitya relive all our memories once again which have ruled our lives growing up.”

The band will next perform in Ahmedabad. Their concert will live stream on Disney+ Hotstar on January 26. In the video message, Chris said, “Namaste to all our friends in India. We are so happy to tell you that on the 26th of January, our show from Ahmedabad is streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar. And you can watch it from where you are in India. We hope you can join us. We are so excited to come to your beautiful country. And we hope you are well. Much love.”

Coldplay consists of four members: Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Phil Harvey. The band performed in Mumbai at the Global Citizens India in 2016, with several celebrities attending. The members even shot the music video for their song ‘Hymn Of The Weekend’ in Mumbai, featuring Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor.
