Dulquer Salmaan, Khushbu Sundar, Nivin Pauly and other celebs mourn Nedumudi Venu’s sudden demise

The entire South film industry is in shock following Nedumudi Venu’s sudden death. Venu breathed his last at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He was 73. The actor was rushed to the hospital recently due to stomach-related ailments. Recently, Nedumudi recovered from a Covid-19 infection.

Prithviraj Sukumaran, Dulquer Salmaan, Khushbu Sundar, GV Prakash Kumar, Vedhika, Nivin Pauly, Sathish, Sound designer Resul Pookutty are among many other celebs who have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms to express their grief.

South indian actor Prithviraj took to Twitter to express his shock over the demise of Nedumudi Venu. He shared a photo of Nedumudi and wrote, “Farewell Venu uncle! Your body of work and your expertise over the craft will forever be research material for generations to come! Rest in peace legend! #NedumudiVenu.”

The veteran actor has acted in more than 500 films including Tamil films in his illustrious career. The veteran actor is known for his best roles in Indian, Anniyan and Sarvam Thaala Mayam in Tamil. Nedumudi won three National Film Awards and six Kerala State Film Awards for his exceptional performances.
