Every time any health update on Dilip Kumar comes by, his fans from all over the world are left worried. Earlier today, the legendary actor was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathing issues. Fans were left worried and wanted an update when a tweet from his official Twitter handle (handled by the actor’s manager) hinted that everything is being taken care of.

The tweet about Dilip Kumar surely acted as a pacifier. The same could be read, “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe”.

However, as per the latest ETimes report, Dilip Kumar has been put on oxygen support. The legendary actor has been diagnosed with “bilateral pleural effusion along with a drop in oxygen saturation”. His doctor, Dr Jalil Parkar shared with the publication, “But he is stable and not in the ICU. If all goes well, he may be discharged in 2-3 days.

There have been lots of health rumours going on about Dilip Kumar. This is why the latest tweet from the legendary actor’s official Twitter handle was recently tweeted: “Don’t believe in WhatsApp forwards. Saab is stable. Thank you for your heart-felt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days. Insh’Allah.

Dilip Kumar’s Twitter account is a rich storehouse of his memories from the past and of course, messages from his wife, the beautiful Saira Banu. It was on October 11, 1966, when Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu got married and last year, 2 days ahead of their wedding anniversary, the legendary actor’s Twitter handle contained two beautiful tweets about their marriage in compliance with the current situation.

The first part from Saira Banu’s tweet could be read, “Message from Saira Banu Khan: Oct. 11, is always the most beautiful day in my life. Dilip Saheb married me on this day and made my cherished dreams come true.  This year, we are not celebrating. You all know we lost two of our brothers, Ahsan Bhai and Aslam Bhai …1/n”

The second part of the tweet read, “The unprecedented turmoil due to the Covid-19 pandemic has taken many lives and caused sorrow in many many families. In the current circumstances, we request all of you, our dear friends, to pray for each other’s safety and well being. May God be with us all. Stay Safe. 2/2”

Last year, Dilip Kumar lost both of his brothers. He did not celebrate his birthday due to the same reason. Saira Banu had shared in an interview that the actor was not informed of his brothers’ demise immediately after they passed away.
