‘Devara’ has refused to slow down in theatres and its numbers have been exceptionally good even in the second week. Starring Jr NTR in the titular role, the movie has received favorable reviews from the audience and has broken records as well. In India, ‘Devara’ has already crossed the milestone of Rs 200 crore at the box office. Take a look at how much ‘Devara’ has earned on day 9 (second Saturday).

Devara Box Office Collection Day 9:

According to the website Sacnilk, ‘Devara’ collected Rs 8.75 crore as per early estimates on day 9. The film’s total collection now stands at Rs 230.35 crore in India. These numbers are expected to go higher on day 10 (second Sunday).

‘Devara’ has also been added to the list of the Highest Grossing South India Films of all time and is currently in the 18th position. Other movies on the list are: ‘Baahubali 2’, ‘RRR’, ‘KGF 2’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, ‘Leo’ and ‘Salaar’.

Apart from Jr NTR, the movie also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. Both the actors have made their Telugu debut with ‘Devara’.

While speaking to Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for a fun chat, the ‘RRR’ had high praise for Saif Ali Khan’s performance in ‘Devara’ and said that it reminded him of ‘Omkara’. Praising Saif, the actor said, “Saif’s character is…I don’t know I was so excited seeing him while watching the movie. I just remember that immediately when I saw the film and when I saw his performance, I went back to Omkara. He gives you that vibe and he was outstanding in that movie. I don’t remember when I actually saw him that fabulous.”

Devara OTT Update:

According to several media reports, the OTT rights of ‘Devara’ have been purchased by Netflix. The official OTT release date for ‘Devara’ has not yet been announced. However, it is likely to stream on Netflix in November or December 2024 as the movies usually arrive on OTT 45 to 60 days after their release.

‘Devara’ will return for its second part. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie also stars Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain in pivotal roles.
