Shahid Kapoor returned to theatres with action-thriller film ‘Deva’ and received good response for his performance. Even though the movie created huge hype before its release, it struggled to attract the audience in theatres. Apart from Shahid, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in the lead roles. Deva is now gearing up for its OTT release.

Deva will release on March 28, 2025 on Netflix.
Sharing the news, Netflix India wrote, “Bhasad macha, Trigger chala. Deva aa raha hai.”
While speaking to News24 at Manthan 2024, Shahid Kapoor talked about his family and how they impact his work. Shahid reveals that his wife Mira Rajput and brother Ishaan Khatter are his biggest critics as they give their honest opinions. He further adds that his father Pankaj Kapoor, who is a renowned actor, also reviews his work. The ‘Jersey’ star called his father the ‘best actor’ and praised his dedication towards his craft.
When Shahid was praised for his impeccable dance skills, he gave credit to his mother Neelima Azeem, who is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.
Ahead of the release of Deva, Shahid penned a sweet note for his fans on Instagram. He wrote, “One year of blood sweat and tears. 2024 was all DEVA !!! MERA DIL MERI JAAN. MERA KAAM MERI SHIDDAT. MERA ACTING KE LIYE PYAAR. MERI AUDIENCE KE LIYE MOHOBBAT. MERA SAALON KA EXPERIENCE MERA ANDAR KA CREATIVE BACHHA. SAB HAI IS DEVA MEIN….. Till today he was mine. From tomorrow he is yours.”
The movie also stars Pravesh Rana, Kubbra Sait, Girish Kulkarni, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav More, Upendra Limaye, Abhilash Chaudhary, Pravin Patil and Aditi Sharma in pivotal roles.
