Tollywood star Gopichand and Sriwaas are all set to join hands once again for a new project, tentatively titled Gopichand 30. The film will be bankrolled by Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the banner of People Media Factory. The film is said to be a family entertainer.
The upcoming project will mark the third collaboration between Gopichand and filmmaker Sriwaas. The duo has earlier teamed up for Lakshyam and Loukyam. Both these films went on to become blockbuster hits in Tollywood.
The makers released a special poster to announce the film on social media today. Sharing the title poster on their Twitter handle, they wrote, “The Sensational Hattrick Combination is back!! The shooting of Gopichand’s upcoming film with Sriwass will commence soon. The makers are currently finalising the rest of the cast and crew. Bhupathi Raja has penned the story for this untitled venture. Aware of the high expectations in their combination, Sriwass readied a winning script and Gopichand is very much convinced with the narration and is glad to associate with the director for another time.
Billed to be a perfect family entertainer with hilarious elements and family emotions like in Lakshyam and Loukyam, the yet-to-be-titled flick will be made on a high budget.
Other than this, Gopichand is currently working with director Maruthi’s Pakka Commercial. The film is expected to hit the theatres later this year. An official announcement regarding the same will be out soon. The project is bankrolled by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures. Raashi Khanna has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. The music of the film has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, while editing will be taken care of by SB Uddhav. The film’s cinematography is by Karm Chawla.
The actor is also waiting for the release of his upcoming film Seetimaarr r, directed by Sampath Nandi. Gopichand is essaying the role of a Kabaddi coach, who has a backstory with revenge. Leading lady Tamannaah Bhatia, too, plays a Kabaddai trainer in the movie. Apart from Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia, Seetimaarr r also stars Bhumika Chawla and Digangna Suryavanshi in pivotal roles. The sports drama also stars Tarun Arora, Rao Ramesh, Rehaman, Posani Krishna Murali, Pragathi and Annapurnamma in pivotal roles.
