Champions Trophy 2025: ‘Yeh Bhaag Jayenge’ Ex-Pakistan Cricketer’s SHOCKING Allegation On ICC & BCCI Amid Conflict With PCB

The ongoing rift between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the International Cricket Council (ICC), and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) continues to dominate the cricketing headlines. Former Pakistan cricketer, in a fiery statement, made serious allegations against the ICC and BCCI, suggesting that they might “run away” from their commitments to the PCB.

India Will Not Travel To Pakistan

BCCI had refused to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025 due to security concerns and suggested PCB to go for a hybrid model where India-Pakistan matches will be held in a neutral venue, that can be Dubai. Initially PCB disagreed for the hybrid model but now there’s high probability that the matches between the two neighbors will be held in neutral venue. Following this decision PCB has made a demand that Pakistan will also not travel to India for any future ICC event and their matches will also be conducted in neutral venue.

Triggered Tanveer Ahmed Gives Suggestion To PCB – WATCH

Former Pakistan Cricketer Tanveer Ahmed has made a shocking statement amid the ongoing rift between BCCI and PCB. He gave a suggestion to Mohsin Naqvi in an interview to Pakistan channel, he said that every work/agreement that will happen between India and Pakistan should be in a written. He further stated that once PCB asks for written statement, BCCI will run away and deny from their own stance.

“I want to tell PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi that whatever work you do with India or BCCI do it in written, yeh bhaag jayenge (means they will run away), they (BCCI) will deny from their stance”

“BCCI & ICC Both Are Same”: Says Ahmed

He clearly stated that both BCCI and ICC are the same for him and whatever decision BCCI will take ICC will nod on that.

“Anything you want to do, do it in written, BCCI will have a problem them. Both BCCI and ICC are same, I bring both of them in the same bracket, they’re one. “

Why Is ICC Delaying In Giving The Final Schedule?

Tanveer Ahmed believes that the delay by ICC giving the final decision is due to no written statement being signed formally.

“I believe the decision is getting late because they written formalities are not finalised”

There have been several reports about behind-the-scenes talks over the past few days with the final resolution emerging from these confidential discussions. The tournament will likely follow a hybrid model, with five of the 15 games, including the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash, being played in a secondary venue, most likely the UAE. Even though an official confirmation from ICC is awaited its clear that India will not bow down to Pakistan’s demands.
