Friday has arrived and we are back with the new edition of the biggest TV controversies of the week. In the last seven days, a lot of things happened in the world of television. Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla, unfortunately, lost his life at the age of 40 on September 2. That was a sad day for one and all.
While Sidharth’s demise left us heartbroken, other television celebrities stirred controversy for more reasons than one. Krushna Abhishek skipped The Kapil Sharma Show’s shoot for Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s episode yet again. On the other hand, Gauahar Khan gave a stern reply to Bigg Boss OTT contestant Divya Agarwal via Twitter after Agarwal made a below-the-belt remark about Neha Bhasin.
Sambhavna Seth
Former Bigg Boss contestant Sambhavna Seth had a heated argument with the police officials on September 3. As per the video that is still doing rounds on the internet, Seth fought with cops after she was apparently not allowed to attend television actor Sidharth Shukla’s funeral at the Oshiwara crematorium. Sidharth passed away on September 2 due to alleged heart attack.
Krushna Abhishek
Comedian and actor Krushna Abhishek once again hit the headlines for skipping The Kapil Sharma Show’s shoot for his uncle Govinda’s episode. Since he didn’t wish to create an ‘issue’, Krushna mentioned in an interview with ETimes TV that he realised it was better not to perform for the episode featuring Govind and his wife Sunita Ahuja.
Arshi Khan
Arshi Khan, who was seen in Bigg Boss 11, slammed ‘wannabe’ celebrities for gaining limelight over Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla’s demise. Talking to news agency IANS, Arshi had said, “It is disgusting that people look out for self-benefit whenever a popular celebrity dies. I’m disappointed with many people I know, who are coming out as ‘wannabes’ over Sidharth Shukla’s death.”
Gauahar Khan
Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan lashed out at Bigg Boss OTT contestant Divya Agarwal for talking about Neha Bhasin’s ‘underwear’ on a public platform. Divya’s remark did not sit well with Khan. Following this, Gauahar took to Twitter and sided with Neha Bhasin.
“Leaving an unwashed undergarment for the first time out is a mistake, as a girl urself, how can u make it so embarrassing for another girl ???? Calling it disgusting n making it public n causing a girl so much embarrassment on something so intimate, very sad. #sick,” she penned.
