US President Donald Trump on Saturday asserted that the cessation between India and Pakistan was a bigger success than he’ll ever be given credit for. Trump said that the two nations “were very angry and they were close to a nuclear conflict” after tensions heightened between them following the Pahalgam terror attack and India launched Operation Sindoor. Trump’s remarks came during an interview with Fox News after concluding his trip to West Asia. 

‘A bigger success than I’ll ever be given credit for’

Trump said, “A bigger success than I’ll ever be given credit for. Those are major nuclear powers. Those are not like a little bit. And they were angry.”

‘You know what the N word is’

The US President further said, “And the next phase was probably. Did you see where it was getting deeper and more. I mean, more missiles. Every. Everyone was stronger, stronger to a point where the next ones are going to be. You know what the N word. . You know what the N word is, right?”

The Fox channel interviewer said “Nuclear.” Trump quickly replied, “Yeah.” The interviewer said, “Thank you, thank you for the clarification.”

Trump on ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, US President Donald Trump stressed the importance of addressing the humanitarian situation in Gaza, where many are facing severe food shortages and said that a lot of people are starving in the region.

‘We have to help out the Palestinians’

While speaking with reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said, “A lot of good things are going to happen over the next month. We have to help out the Palestinians. A lot of people are starving in Gaza, so we have to look at both sides. But we are going to do a good job.”

WFP: Populations across the Gaza Strip are at risk of famine

The World Food Programme (WFP) in a release on Monday had said that the populations across the Gaza Strip are at risk of famine as fighting surged again, border crossings are still closed, and food is dangerously scarce.
