The long-awaited film, which once took over theatres with its first instalment, is finally promised to grace the big screens on December 16. The trailer of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water was dropped on Monday and it is grabbing eyeballs for being a visual spectacle.
The first footage of the film was screened at CinemaCon showcase in Las Vegas on April 27. And now, the trailer of the much-anticipated film was released.
The clip shows the stunning landscape of Pandora, an Earth-like habitable extrasolar moon of the gas giant Polyphemus from the Alpha Centauri system, which is a world taken from the original film. Both Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprise their roles.
In the trailer, the words “wherever we go, this family is our fortress” can be heard, and one can only expect that the film is going to be a family-centric movie. While releasing the trailer, the director wrote on Twitter, “I’ve been looking forward to this. Here’s the teaser trailer for AVATAR: The Way of Water.”
