Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan, who turned a year older on Saturday (February 5), shared an important update about his upcoming film on his birthday. The Bunty Aur Babli actor took to social media to inform his fans that he has started shooting for R Balki’s next, which is titled Ghoomer. While most of the stars prefer spending time with their loved ones on his birthday, Abhishek is working on his next project on his special day. 

Guess what? Abhishek is elated to be present on the sets of a film on his birthday. He shared a picture of a clapperboard on his Instagram handle and revealed the title of his movie. He wrote, “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! “Birthdays are best spent, working. Ghoomar. Now spinning.”

Amitabh Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post. Big B wished his son in style as he started work on a new film. 

 “Janamdin ki bahut saari badhai aur Ghoomer ke liye bhi! Ab jhande gaande ka samay aa gaya hai (Best wishes for you birthday and for Ghoomer. It’s time to shine bright),” the B-town megastar wrote. 

Abhishek’s elder sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda and niece Navya Naveli Nanda also dropped heart emojis on the post.

Big B also wished his fans on the occasion of Basant Panchami 2022 and extended his warm wishes to his son Abhishek. 

On the professional front, Abhishek was last seen in Bob Biswas. The crime thriller co-starring Chitrangada Singh served as a spin-off to Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani. 

The Manmarziyaan star also has Dasvi in his kitty. He is playing the role of an uneducated politician in the social comedy, which also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur.
