Popular Music director Devi Sri Prasad is celebrating his 42nd birthday today (August 2), and social media is filled with wishes from his fans. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers of Pushpa shared an exciting update about the first single of the film. The first single of Pushpa is all set to release on August 13, 2021. The song has been named Daakko Daakko Meka in Telugu, Jaago Jaago Bakre in Hindi, Odu Odu Aadu in Tamil, Odu Odu Aade in Malayalam and Jokke Jokke Meke in Kannada.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun too shared the announcement video on his Twitter handle and wished Devi Sri Prasad on his 42nd birthday. He wrote, “Happy birthday my dear friend @ThisIsDSP. As far as lyrics are concerned, Hindi version has been penned by Raqueeb Alam, Telugu lyrics have been written by Chandrabose, Tamil lyrics are created by Penby Viveka, Kannada lyrics by Varadaraj Chikkaballapura and Malayalam lyrics by Siju Thooror.
Vishal Dadlani has sung the Hindi version, Sivam has given his voice for Telugu, Benny Dayal’s vocals in Tamil, Vijay Prakash has sung in Kannada and Rahul Nambiar lent voice in Malayalam.
The film will mark his third collaboration with director Sukumar, and the duo has earlier given two hits with Arya and Arya 2. Pushpa will also feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead opposite Arjun. Mollywood’s ace actor Fahadh Faasil is roped in to play the antagonist role. Along with them, Rangasthalam fame Anasuya, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, Sunil, Harish Uthaman and Vennela Kishore will be seen in other important roles.
Allu Arjun will speak in a Chittoor accent in this movie as the story is set up in the backdrop of Seshachalam forest which is located in the hilly region of Tirumala. This action flick is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media banners. Pushpa will be released in two parts in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
