South African batter David Miller played a mind-blowing knock of 82 runs from 40 balls and guided the Proteas to a 11-run win over Pakistan in the first T20I. Miller smashed four fours and eight sixes during his stay at the crease and batted with a strike rate of 205.00. Apart from Miller, George Linde played an innings of 48 runs from 24 balls which included three fours and four sixes. In the end, South Africa registered a first-innings score of 183/9 in 20 overs. Chasing down the target, Pakistan fell short of the target by just 11 runs and ended up losing the match.

While, David Miller ended up becoming the hero of the match for the South African team, he is just few inches away from registering a major feat in T20Is for South Africa. Miller moved to the second spot in the list of batters for most runs in T20I cricket. The left-handed batter has scored 2550 runs as of now and is just only behind Quinton de Kock, who sits at the top with 2584 runs.
