We owe it to Meghana Sarja for being such a brave force for her fans. Meghana lost her husband, actor, and superstar Chiranjeevi Sarja when she was pregnant. In June 2020, Chiranjeevi suffered convulsions and complained of breathlessness. The next day, he complained of chest pain and collapsed. He was then rushed to a hospital where he passed away after suffering from a cardiac arrest.
He has acted in over 20 films in a career spanning over 11 years. Four months after his death, Meghana welcomed their son Rayaan Raj Sarja. Despite not having the strongest support standing by her during difficult times, Meghana has only emerged stronger. Meghana has now resumed work and is seen as a judge on Colors Kannada Dancing Champion.
In a new promo of the show, the actress goes on to recall receiving a gift from her husband for their first anniversary in 2019. Reminiscing Valentine’s Day celebrations, Meghana went on to recall that Chiranjeevi gifted her a black sling bag on the occasion of the world’s most romantic day. She also showed a personalised frame that she keeps by her bedside table.
The makes then went on to play an old audio clip of the actor. As soon as Meghana heard it, she broke down and said ‘I wish this was true.’ Recalling the old gifts and the audio clip, Meghana went on to state that all of them are a ‘bittersweet surprise.’
On the other hand, fans were miffed with the makers for bringing back a time that left Meghana in tears. They further urged the makers to refrain from doing things that will make her cry. A fan wrote, ‘Y u guys wanna make her cry.this is not good’ while another wrote, ‘Stop dragging her past in every episode,,,let her live the way she wants n she doing so ,,,, her story should not be ur marketing strategy’
Meghana and Chiranjeevi were best friends before they decided to take their relationship to the next level. The two tied the knot in Christian and Hindu traditions on April 29, 2018, and May 2, 2018.
