Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been making headlines ever since his meeting with Donald Trump. He has now appreciated support received during a European leaders’ summit in London . Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to friends and partners for their efforts in bringing about a stable and guaranteed peace in Ukraine. In an X post, Zelenskyy stressed upon the united stance Europe has taken in supporting Ukraine’s independence and security.

Zelenskyy Praises Europe’s Unity

He wrote, “The summit in London was dedicated to Ukraine and our shared European future. We feel strong support for Ukraine, for our people – both soldiers and civilians, and our independence. Together, we are working in Europe to establish a solid foundation for cooperation with the United States in pursuit of true peace and guaranteed security.”

Zelenskyy praised the unity of Europe and added, “Europe’s unity is at an exceptionally high level, one that has not been seen in a long time.

He further highlighted about meeting planned in future. “We are discussing with our partners security guarantees and the conditions for a just peace for Ukraine. A series of important meetings and decisions are being prepared for the near future,” Zelenskyy wrote.

Ukraine Needs Peace, Says Zelenskyy

In a video message, Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine needs peace and not endless war. He said, “What we need is peace, not endless war. And that’s why we say security guarantees are the key to this.”

“Everyone is united on the main issue – for peace to be real, we need real security guarantees. And this is the position of all of Europe – the entire continent. The United Kingdom, the European Union, Türkiye. Of course, we understand the importance of America, and we are grateful for all the support we’ve received from the United States. There has not been a day when we haven’t felt gratitude. It’s gratitude for the preservation of our independence – our resilience in Ukraine is based on what our partners are doing for us – and for their own security,” Zelenskky conveyed through a video message on X.
