in the wake of the shocking murder of veteran politician Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai last week, authorities have disclosed that his son, Zeeshan Siddiqui, an MLA, is now on the hit list of the notorious Bishnoi gang. Sources indicate that the shooters were given a contract to eliminate both Baba and Zeeshan.

Murder Plot Exposed By Law Enforcement

Police sources have revealed that the assailants were informed that both father and son would be present at the murder scene on Saturday evening. If they could not execute the plan as intended, they were instructed to eliminate whichever target was accessible first. This alarming detail underscores the perilous environment political figures face .

Zeeshan Siddiqui’s Political Background

Zeeshan Siddiqui, previously representing the Congress party as an MLA for Vandre East, was expelled from the party several months ago over allegations of cross-voting during legislative council elections. This political backdrop adds complexity to the threats he now faces.

Details Surrounding Baba Siddiqui’s Assassination

The murder occurred on Saturday night when three assailants attacked Baba Siddiqui outside his son’s office. They incapacitated a police constable assigned to provide security by throwing chili powder at him. Two of the shooters, Gurmail Baljit Singh from Haryana and Dharmaraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested, while the third, Shivkumar Gautam, managed to flee and was last seen near Panvel.

Manhunt For The Escaped Shooter

In light of the incident, multiple police teams have been dispatched across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi to locate the fugitive Shivkumar Gautam. The Mumbai Police’s Anti-Extortion Cell is actively investigating the assassination, aiming to uncover the full details behind this violent act.

Ongoing Surveillance And Threat Analysis

Investigations have revealed that the accused had been conducting reconnaissance on the locations frequented by Baba and Zeeshan Siddiqui, including their home, office, and various events. This methodical surveillance indicates a significant and growing threat to public figures in Maharashtra, emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced security measures to protect politicians and their families.
