Yogi Adityanath calls Mulayam Singh Yadav ‘Abbajan’, Akhilesh says ‘he should check his language’

The war of words between the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) escalated after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav “Abbajan”.

Reacting to this, Akhilesh Yadav said the CM should check his language or be prepared to hear things about his father in the same language he used.

Yogi had targeted Akhilesh Yadav after the former UP CM called himself a bigger Hindu than BJP leaders.

CM Yogi took a jibe and said that his father Mulayam Singh Yadav used to say that even a bird cannot approach Ayodhya but now the construction of Ram temple has started there and in the next three years there will be a big grand temple.

BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh asked Akhilesh Yadav why he has a problem with the word “Abba” and said that even Mulayam Singh used to call the SP chief “Tipu”.

He further said that Akhilesh needs to change his attitude and thinking.

Taking a swipe at the SP, Singh said that the party is unhappy with BJP’s growing popularity in Uttar Pradesh.

With less than a year remaining for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP and the Samajwadi Party have intensified their campaign in the state.

Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday said that seeing the anger and disappointment of people, the party may win up to 400 seats in the upcoming election.

“I used to say that we will win 350 seats in the 2022 Assembly elections. Seeing the anger of people against the incumbent BJP government for failing to fulfil the poll promises, we may win 400 seats,” he said.

He further slammed the Yogi government accusing it of renaming the projects started by the previous SP government.

He also mocked Yogi Adityanath saying “because the Chief Minister does not know to use laptops, the government has not distributed free laptops to students.”
