Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has collaborated with OTT platform Netflix for his docu-film titled ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous’. The project will showcase the rise, fall, difficulties and epic comeback of Honey Singh in the music industry. Netflix has officially unveiled its first look of the docu-film and announced its release date.

‘Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous’ will release on Netflix on December 20, 2024.
Announcing the release date, Netflix India wrote, “The name you know, the story you don’t. Witness the rise of a legend who changed the face of Indian music forever. Watch Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous on 20 December, only on Netflix!”
Yo Yo Honey Singh has been vocal about his struggles with mental health and revealed how how his friends from the film industry supported him. In an interview with The Lallantop, he revealed, “Akshay paaji ka call aata tha, wo follow up lete they, Deepika ne doctor suggest kia tha and Shah Rukh bhai ke yahan se regular phone aatey they. Meri family se poochhte they, main toh baat he nahi kar paata tha, sab ne bahut support kiya. (Akshay used to call and follow up about me, Deepika suggested a doctor and Shah Rukh used to call regularly too. I used to be unable to talk, but they would enquire my family about my health. They supported me a lot.)”
While talking about his divorce, he revealed, “Our relationship wasn’t very good at that time. There was distance between us because I was travelling a lot. For the initial 9–10 months of our marriage, things were good. But then success and fame got to my head. When that happened, I neglected my family and had completely lost myself in money, fame, addiction, and women. I did terrible things. I almost left Shalini and forgot about them.”
Yo Yo Honey Singh recently released his song ‘Millionaire’, which became a hit. He will soon release his song ‘Glory’.
