WWE SummerSlam 2025: 4 Female Champions At Risk Of Losing Their Title

WWE SummerSlam 2025 is expected to be a spectacular event, and for the first time ever, it will be held over two days – August 2 and 3. Fans are already buzzing with excitement, and to add to the anticipation, John Cena is also set to appear.

Following last month’s WrestleMania, WWE crowned several new champions. However, some of these title reigns may be short-lived. In this article, we look at four women’s superstars who could lose their championships before SummerSlam 2025.

Lyra Valkyria

Earlier in 2025, Lyra Valkyria captured the Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Dakota Kai. Her title reign has been solid so far, and she recently retained her championship against Becky Lynch at Backlash 2025.

However, her reign might not last much longer. A rematch between Lyra and Becky is scheduled for the upcoming Money in the Bank 2025 event, and this time, Becky could walk away with the gold. With Night of Champions 2025 also around the corner, fans could see a new Women’s Intercontinental Champion crowned before SummerSlam.

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez currently hold the Women’s Tag Team Championships. They won the titles on the first episode of RAW after WrestleMania 41, defeating Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch. Both Liv and Raquel are now part of The Judgment Day faction, which also includes Finn Bálor and Raxon Paraj.

However, trouble is brewing. On a recent episode of RAW, Liv lost to Kairi Sane after getting distracted by an argument between Raquel and Raxon. Following the loss, Liv appeared visibly upset with Raquel, hinting at tension within the team. If this discord continues, the duo could drop their titles well before SummerSlam 2025.

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton became the Women’s Champion earlier this year by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax. Since then, she has delivered impressive performances, including a high-profile win over Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41.

Despite her momentum, her title reign may not last until SummerSlam. WWE appears to be building up several contenders, including Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Alexa Bliss. Among them, Cargill is rumored to be in line for a major push. With major events like Money in the Bank 2025 and Night of Champions 2025 ahead, it’s possible the company could crown a new Women’s Champion before SummerSlam arrives.

The Women’s Division is currently stacked with incredible talent, and any of these rising stars could take the spotlight.
