The last episode of WWE SmackDown was excellent, serving as a great build-up to the Saturday Night’s Main Event and the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event. From start to finish, all the stars performed tremendously. The show opened with an intense backstage segment between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre, setting the tone for the night. Once again, the Women’s Division stole the spotlight with fiery performances. Charlotte Flair made an action-packed return after a long time, though she was unsuccessful. Let’s take a look at the SmackDown results.

Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton Segment

Tiffany Stratton praised herself for defeating Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax. She mentioned that since Money in the Bank (MITB) is happening soon, someone might cash in on the champion. Alexa Bliss then entered, saying that her eyes are on Tiffany. Charlotte Flair also appeared, claiming she will win the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Tiffany responded by saying she has now risen above both Alexa and Charlotte.

Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier Match and Singles Match

There was a fierce contest between Julia, Charlotte Flair, and Zelina Vega. Vega performed tremendously throughout the match. The finish was spectacular: Charlotte locked Vega in a Figure-8 Leglock, but Julia intervened by jumping on Charlotte’s foot from the top rope, injuring her. Julia then executed a Northern Lights Bomb on Vega and pinned her for the win. Veteran Flair and Women’s US Champion Vega both suffered defeat.

Singles Match: Tommaso Ciampa vs Chris Sabin

The singles match between Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Sabin was action-packed. Interference from Johnny Gargano and Alex Shelley added to the drama. Towards the end, Ciampa faked an injury to distract the referee. Kendis LeRae then appeared behind Sabin and slammed his neck against the top rope. Ciampa capitalized and hit his finishing move to secure the victory.

Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest’s Brawl – Secretharvis Match

McIntyre and Priest suddenly started fighting on the stage, attacking each other fiercely. Officials had to intervene to separate them. Priest threatened to defeat McIntyre, attacked the officials, and lunged again at McIntyre. It took a lot of effort to separate the two stars.

In the show’s Secretharvis match, B-Fab and Machine faced off in a strong contest. Zelina Vega distracted Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, which helped B-Fab and Machine secure the win.

Jacob Fatu’s Match and R-Truth’s Segment

Jacob Fatu and Jessie Mateo teamed up against Jimmy Uso and Rey Phoenix in a highly energetic match. Rey Phoenix impressed everyone with spectacular moves from the top rope. Solo Sikoa was ringside to assist Fatu and Mateo, and his intervention helped them win. After the match, tension was visible between Fatu and Mateo, as they nearly fought each other during the match as well. This hints at a brewing rivalry.

R-Truth addressed the upcoming non-title match against John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He described Cena as egotistical and claimed Cena wants to ruin wrestling. Truth declared they must save it and predicted that if he wins, there will be chaos. He confidently vowed to defeat Cena.

Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifier Match

The men’s qualifier featured Aleister Black, Shinsuke Nakamura, and LA Knight. The three gave an incredible performance, pushing each other to the limit. In the end, Black hit Nakamura with the Black Mass and went for the pin, but Knight took advantage, knocked Black out of the ring, and pinned Nakamura to win. LA Knight will now compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match – Main Event

In the main event, the Street Profits defended their tag team titles against FTR in a thrilling match. The fans showed great appreciation for both teams. DIY interfered, leading to a chaotic brawl with the Motor City Machine Guns. Tag teams jumped off the top rope, creating a high-risk moment. Suddenly, the lights went out. When they returned, the Wyatt Six and Uncle Howdy appeared and attacked all the stars. Howdy applied the Sister Abigail finisher on Johnny Gargano. The segment ended with a chilling atmosphere, setting the stage for future confrontations.
