WWE: Braun Strowman’s Cryptic ‘I’ll Retire’ Post Leaves Fans Stunned

In a surprising turn of events, WWE has released Braun Strowman, sending shockwaves through the wrestling world. Strowman is one of around 15 superstars recently let go by the company, but his name has stood out as the most unexpected. Fans and insiders alike are struggling to make sense of WWE’s decision, especially given that Strowman had been involved in a compelling feud with Jacob Fatu not long ago, even though he wasn’t part of WrestleMania 41.

Strowman Released for the Second Time

This marks the second time WWE has released Braun Strowman. The first came in 2021, much to the surprise of fans. He eventually made a comeback in September 2022, delivering a solid run filled with memorable rivalries, including one with Bronson Reed. Yet, despite his consistency and star power, the company seemingly failed to provide him with the main-event push he deserved.

Cryptic Message Sparks Retirement Rumors

Following his release, Strowman shared a mysterious social media post that has only deepened the speculation. Posting a vacation photo, he captioned it cryptically:

“I will not be able to do not !!!!!”

Though the wording is unclear, fans and wrestling analysts are interpreting it as a sign that Strowman may be considering retirement from professional wrestling. The post has fueled intense speculation, with many wondering whether this might be the end of the road for the “Monster Among Men.”

What’s Next for Braun Strowman?

Despite the shock, Strowman’s experience and presence make him a hot prospect for other wrestling promotions. AEW (All Elite Wrestling) appears to be the most likely destination should he choose to continue wrestling. With Tony Khan at the helm and known for acquiring former WWE talent, a move to AEW wouldn’t be far-fetched—and could give Strowman the fresh start he needs.

A Look Back at Strowman’s WWE Journey

Strowman first joined WWE’s NXT brand in 2013, later debuting on the main roster in 2015 as part of The Wyatt Family. After breaking out on his own, his singles run saw a meteoric rise. From 2017 onwards, he became a fan favorite thanks to his fierce rivalry with Roman Reigns. He reached the pinnacle in 2020 by defeating Goldberg at WrestleMania to win the Universal Championship.

Though his second stint in WWE was respectable, many feel that the company never fully capitalized on his potential in recent years.
