Rohit Sharma led Team India has again gained the top spot after a dominating win against Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first Test that was held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, September 22.

India now has 86 points and a 71.67 PCT after 10 matches, while Bangladesh only has 39.29 PCT.

Rohit Sharma: A Very Successful Test Captain

The India vs Bangladesh 1st Test has provided a dream start to India’s Test season. India won the first Test by a massive 280 runs and the Rohit Sharma led team now sits at the top.

Rohit Sharma has a magnificent record as the Test captain for Team India and currently ruling the charts with victories under his name.India dominated the first Test with both bat and bowl. Ravichandran Ashwin, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill became the star players to score centuries. Then the bowlers came in with an explosive start to completely dismantle Bangladesh’s batting lineup, Ravichandran Ashwin took 6 wickets and this also marked his 37th five-wicket haul. He is the first ever Indian to register20-fifty plus score alongside 30-plus five wicket haul.
