According to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, South African skipper Temba Bavuma has sustained an elbow injury that has ruled him out of the final match of Cricket South Africa’s Day Series Division-1. He was expected to lead the Cape Town Lions in the final, but the injury has forced him to withdraw.

While the full extent of the injury is not yet confirmed, Bavuma’s absence is certainly a cause for concern for South Africa heading into the WTC Final.
