South Africa and Australia will face each other in the WTC Final 2025. Test match will happen at Lord’s stadium on June 11. Because India was in third place after this cycle, Team India will not compete in the final. Indian cricket fans have a reason to cheer again because two Indians have reached the last match. The ICC has announced who the official for the final will be and two Indian names are included.

These Indians Must Bear A Large Responsibility

Javagal Srinath and Nitin Menon make up the group of match officials recently revealed by the ICC. Match referee will be Javagal Srinath and the fourth umpire will be Nitin Menon. The World Test Championship final will be Nitin Menon’s first time taking charge in person. He has previously served as a TV umpire in the 2021 T20 World Cup final. To add, Javagal Srinath has gained experience as an ICC match official. He began doing this work in 2006. So far, he has officiated in 79 Test matches and he will oversee his 80th Test match in this capacity in the final.

Which Umpire Will Be Out On The Field?

This match will be overseen by the main umpires Chris Gaffney from New Zealand and Richard Illingworth from England. All three World Test Championship finals saw Illingworth take the role of umpire. With this, he received the David Shepherd Trophy presented by the ICC. He has also been responsible for umpiring the WTC final in 2023 and the 2022 T20 World Cup final. England will also have Richard Kettleborough serving as one of the TV umpires.
