Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge experienced health issues while addressing a rally in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. The 82-year-old leader began to breathe heavily during his speech, prompting concern among his fellow Congress workers. After taking a brief pause and sipping some water, Kharge managed to complete his address, assuring the audience of his resilience and commitment to his political mission.

Resilience In A Crisis

Kharge has once again reaffirmed his determination, saying “I will keep living until PM Modi is ejected.” He said this during an election; he maintained that statehood had to be restored to Jammu and Kashmir. Their rhetoric was in an attempt to energize their supporters and to speak of the party’s goals in the region.

Attack On PM Modi’s Leadership

Kharge did not restrain himself from targeting PM Modi. He said that Modi, in the face of this crisis, is shedding false tears over the future of the youth in the Valley. Kharge asserts that with Modi at the helm, the Indian youth have been facing all the more challenges of unemployment being the prime example. Indeed, according to the latest statistics, the figure for unemployment stands at its highest in the past 45 years and has directly identified the present-day regime with the crisis.

A Call To Action

In his speech, Kharge highlighted that job vacancies are a problem where he stated that 65% of the posts in government departments in Jammu and Kashmir are lying vacant. He said locals have fewer prospects of getting jobs while outsiders are roped in most often, especially on a contractual basis. This narrative points to the commitment of the Congress party to raise the voice of local people by demanding these rights and employment opportunities.
