In a true Bollywood-style love story, actors Prateik Patil Babbar and Priya Banerjee are all set to tie the knot on February 14, 2025. The couple, who made their relationship Instagram-official last year, will have an intimate wedding at Prateik’s Bandra residence, surrounded by close family and friends. While they have yet to make an official announcement, reports confirm that the duo got engaged in November 2023.

But who is Priya Banerjee, the actress who has captured Prateik’s heart?

From Canada To Indian Cinema

Born on April 16, 1990, Priya Banerjee hails from Canada and comes from an Indian Bengali background. She first gained recognition in the entertainment industry as a participant in Miss World Canada 2011 before making her way into Indian cinema.

Banerjee started her film career in the Telugu industry with Kiss (2013) opposite Adivi Sesh. She later worked in Joru (2014) alongside Sundeep Kishan and Raashii Khanna. Her acting journey expanded across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films, making her a recognized name in multiple regional industries.

Bollywood And OTT Success

Priya Banerjee gained wider fame through her Bollywood and digital projects. She starred in Rana Naidu, a Netflix crime drama, and her latest release, MaayaKaMoh (2024) on ShemarooMe, has garnered significant global attention. Her performance alongside Pankit Thakker has been widely praised, with Thakker receiving critical acclaim for his role.

A Love Story To Remember

Prateik and Priya have often spoken about their relationship. Last year, in an interview, Prateik expressed his excitement about their future, calling it a “mature Valentine’s Day.” Priya, on the other hand, described him as her first love, sharing how he changed her perspective on relationships and marriage.

Prateik, son of veteran actors Raj Babbar and the late Smita Patil, was previously married to Sanya Sagar, but the couple parted ways in 2023. Now, as he embarks on a new journey with Priya Banerjee, fans eagerly await more details about their upcoming wedding.

With her growing presence in the industry and a new chapter in her personal life, Priya Banerjee is set to make headlines both on and off-screen.
