Pragya Nagra has become a focal point in the entertainment world following the recent leak of her alleged private videos online. The actress broke her silence on the issue, addressing the controversy through a social media post.

Background
Pragya Nagra hails from a Punjabi family in Ambala, Haryana. She completed her schooling and college education in Delhi. Raised by a father who served in the Indian Armed Forces, she spent some time in Chennai during his tenure. Initially aspiring to join the armed forces, Pragya discovered her passion for modeling and acting while pursuing an engineering degree.

Career Journey
She moved to Chennai to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. Pragya made her Tamil film debut in Varalaru Mukkiyam (2022), where she played a Malayali girl opposite Jiiva. Although the film received mixed reviews, her performance drew attention. She also acted in the Malayalam film Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna, portraying a Kannada girl. Pragya is now expanding her career to Tollywood and has plans to explore Bollywood in the future.

Video Leak Controversy

Pragya hit headlines after alleged private videos leaked online. Taking to her X handle, she addressed the issue directly, expressing disbelief and disappointment over the situation. She described the experience as a “bad dream” and criticized how technology can be misused. Pragya mentioned her hope that no other woman would have to face such an ordeal and called for strict action against those responsible.

Her note read, “Still in denial, and still hoping that it’s just a bad dream that I will wake up from. Technology was meant to help us and not make our lives miserable. Can just pity the evil minds who misuse it to create such AI content and the people who help spread it.” Pragya also tagged the cyber-cell agencies of the government in her post, seeking serious action.

The authenticity of the leaked videos remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing. Pragya’s stance reflects her determination to address the issue head-on and seek justice
