BTS’s Jimin and Jung Kook Complete Military Service, Fans Celebrate Their Homecoming
Jimin and Jung Kook were discharged today on, June 11, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea. Their return is a serious step towards the full reunification of the global phenomenon BTS has been taken.
Both of them had finished their 18-months of service at the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, where they had entered together. The two celebrities were greeted by the enthusiastic fans and the media as they arrived at Yeoncheon Public Stadium. They carried flowers, proudly saluted and conveyed messages to their fans worldwide.
“I am shy, I did not even put on makeup”, Jung Kook explained nervously. “I have not been in front of the cameras in a long time.”
Jimin continued, “Life in the military was not that easy, but I got memorable friends. Now, we are prepared to present something better and begin drawing a new picture of BTS.”
Before them, other BTS members RM and V were discharged from the military. Only one member, Suga, is yet to be discharged on June 21.
