According to Deepak Chahar the correct timing in which qualified players enter the game has driven MI toward their impressive success during IPL 2025. The team of MI has climbed to the top standings after achieving six consecutive victories in the competition.

“I think we’re playing good cricket as a unit and everybody is in form, including bowlers and batters. Everybody has performed in the last 8 to 9 matches. Obviously when you’re performing as a team and then you as a player have confidence. So I think it’s just the collective teamwork and everybody being in form that gives a lot of confidence,” said Chahar.  

MI’s Performance In IPL This Season

MI achieved a strong performance during IPL 2025 by winning 7 matches from their 11 appearances while ending on 4 defeats and is currently at the top position in the IPL pointes table. Their strong performance shows in their 1.274 net run rate which led to their acquisition of 14 points. The recent wins of MI since their last defeat strengthened their performance through six win succession at a critical moment in the tournament. Their undefeated run helped MI gain strategic ground in the points table which boosted their chances of reaching playoffs and strengthened their ongoing winning streak.
