When Life Gives You Tangerines has become one of the most loved about K-dramas of 2025 and has gained popularity worldwide. Park Bo-gum, who was the male lead in the show, will next star in the series ‘Good Boy’ and has created excitement around his new project. In a recent interview, the actor talked about his new film, addressed his fans in India and also open up about the possibility of working in an Indian film.

While speaking to The Indian Express, he expressed his love for India and shared his desire to work in an Indian film. He shared, “If opportunity allows, I would love to visit India for a production, or maybe do a musical, within India. If that happens, I would love to join the cast alongside my co-star Sang Yi from Good Boy, that would make me happy.”

He also shared how he feels about being one of the face of Korean wave. Park Bo Gum said, “In the past, the subject matters that were dealt with in K dramas were not as diverse as we see today. Thanks to streaming services and different outlets, we now have a plethora of K dramas that explore different subjects, as well as genres and themes. In Good Boy too, the storylines of the many characters are relatable. Our music composer has incorporated new genres into the narrative, to give you a wholesome experience.”

Talking about When Life Gives You Tangerines, the show revolves around the lives of Ae Sun and Yang Gwan-sik as they fall in love, get married and raise their children. The series focuses on this couple’s life in different timelines as the story moves forward to their children. The volume three and four focused on Yang Geum-myeong, Ae Sun’s daughter as she goes through first love, heartbreak and marriage.

The show was released in four volumes and received an amazing response from the audience. The show also stars IU, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon. When Life Gives You Tangerines is directed by Kim Won-seok and written by Lim Sang-choon.
